Bike Utah

Bike Utah is an exceptional organization dedicated to nurturing Utah’s bike community. Recently, we had the privilege of documenting their incredible youth BEST program. The children were thrilled to showcase their biking skills while riding the bikes generously provided by Bike Utah. To capture all the excitement, we utilized two Panasonic EVA 1 cameras and one drone, ensuring that every moment was captured in all its glory. The kids were awestruck by our equipment, and we delighted in their playful attempts at directing the shoot. Working with Bike Utah has been an extraordinary experience, as they offer a wide range of programs that deliver invaluable services to the bike community.

Bike Utah

Youth BEST Program

The Youth Bicycle Education and Safety Training (BEST) Program teaches more than 3,000 Utah kids every year how to safely and confidently experience their communities by bicycle. The Program is a 5-hour, in-class and on-bike program taught at schools around Utah, targeting students in the 4th to 7th grades. Bike Utah provides trained instructors, bicycles, helmets, and all other equipment for the duration of the program at no cost.

1,000 Miles Campaign

Bike Utah is honored to be the nonprofit partner designated to carry out the implementation of the 1,000 Miles Campaign. We provide strategic planning, technical assistance, and connections to financial resources, so communities can begin or continue developing bicycling in their area.

Utah Bike Summit

The Utah Bike Summit is the state bicycle conference, open to bicycle enthusiasts and advocates, elected officials, bike shops, manufacturers, infrastructure engineers, planners, transportation professionals, health officials, tourism professionals, and the general public.

This one-day event features speakers, training sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions focusing on how to make Utah a better place to ride. Join us for lively conversations, product demos, and a motivational atmosphere!

Bike Utah- Wasatch Bike Plan

Our lives don’t stop at municipal boundaries and neither should bicycle routes. In order to make bicycling a reasonable transportation and recreation choice for everyone along the Wasatch Front, every community needs to be engaged. Bike Utah is working with our regional partners so every municipality in the four Wasatch Front counties can develop and adopt bicycle and pedestrian master plans. If your community doesn’t have an adopted plan, the odds of bicycle lanes, paths, and trails being built are low.
