Tom captures moments that inspire imagination. During his early years working for Hurley/Nike, he was dubbed Chief Storyteller by the professional surfing world. Tom believes that each brand has a story to tell. He’s helped award-winning Creative Directors tell those stories, directing/writing commercials for Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Don Julio, La-Z-Boy, and more.
Tom is a creator and a collaborator. As a director, Tom has a calm and collaborative approach that makes shoot days efficient and enjoyable. He’s a skilled artist, developing visual content that feels authentic and genuine with an underlying focus on story. On-set, Tom coordinates the vision of clients and consistently shows respect to everyone involved. One hope he carries into every shoot is to cultivate a positive collaborative culture.
Tom’s greatest efforts as a creator and collaborator are centered on his starring role as Dad. He has two of the brightest, most beautiful kids. When he’s not loving on them, you’ll find him fly fishing or exploring the beauty that is Utah.
