Utah Outdoor Rec

We had a good time filming for Utah outdoor recreation. We traveled all around Utah interviewing a unique group of dedicated and hard working people to keep what they love going strong. The goal of this video is for businesses and other organizations to receive grants from government officials to keep trails and various locations looking nice and well kept for tourist and locals! As a team we learned a lot from these amazing people. Everyone benefits from these grants, from local businesses, to non-profit organizations that want to keep dreams alive!

Joe’s Valley

Joe’s Valley is one of the world’s premier bouldering destinations. The sandstone boulders that line the hillsides are seemingly made for climbing: the rock is textured but skin-friendly, it’s featured yet strong, and the landings are generally fantastic. Approaches are almost all 5 minutes or less, and many of the most popular boulders are just a stone’s throw from the car. We had an amazing time filming there!

Elevated Mountain Guides is committed to empowering underserved communities – locally and abroad – looking to access the outdoors, expand their expertise, and engage with nature. Through their program, Project Climb, they work in local climbing gyms to develop the skills and confidence to get outdoors, utilizing therapeutic techniques to aid their participants in the outdoors and their daily lives. The Utah Children’s Outdoor Recreation and Education (UCORE) grant will help to support this program and expand outdoor access to underserved youth in the greater Salt Lake area.

Cedar City

Iron Hills is a trailhead located on the south side of Cedar City. This trailhead is for mountain biking. Site includes flush toilets, gravel parking, kiosk, and sign in box. Currently there is 20+ miles of built trail with another 30 miles of trail planned. Highlands, Green Hollow, Boulder Dash, Lava Flow and Iron Giant trails are optimized as downhill flow trails.
