Introducing Snowbird Power Systems – saving the carbon emissions equivalent to removing 786 cars from the road a year. We were tasked with telling the story of Snowbird’s new cogeneration power facility, an upgrade from an outdated and less efficient 1986 power system. Partnering with Struck, this project was a great opportunity to tell the story of how a ski area with an incredible legacy and brand is pushing to be more environmentally friendly, a tough challenge for a resort high in the mountains and off the main power grid. This video was a fun combination of great archival Snowbird content mixed with footage from a multi-day shoot we conducted on site both at the old generator and in the brand-new state-of-the-art cogeneration facility.
